I walked in to the drop in clinic and was seen promptly, maybe within an hour or so, however the waiting room was absolutely packed weren’t even enough seats would recommend getting there 5 mins before open to avoid queues, this is absolutely no fault of the wonderful staff everyone was so kind friendly and cheerful can’t thank them all enough for the excellent service provided

Excellent GP Practice and organisation of health care service.

I have multiple long-standing health conditions and have had to seek medical attention a great deal since my teens. I have had extensive experience of GP surgeries across the country and the University of Sussex Health Centre is by far the best I have ever encountered both in terms of staff and care. I am consistently impressed at the extent to which this surgery is able to accommodate me and my needs; constantly grateful for the excellent care I receive and the speed, professionalism and empathy with which I receive it; and always thankful for the excellent reception and administrative staff who facilitate an environment which enable me to access help when I have needed and do need it. My experience of the surgery has been nothing but positive and in the 7 years I have been registered at the practice I have felt continually supported in every aspect of my treatments. I could not recommend this surgery more highly and I feel lucky to be in receipt of such consistently excellent care.

Lots of lovely people working really really hard- however reception are often rude and hard to talk to over the phone and in person due to their short mannerism and occasionally unhelpful advice. I do appreciate this is due to long hours and a busy practice however it makes going to the doctors an unpleasant experience. The practice is massively over prescribed and getting an appointment is almost impossible even when booked months in advance. The working hours of doctors and nurses also make it exteremly difficult for those of us who work full time and cannot have lots of time off - this is then not helped by the opening times of the practice, especially by not being open at least one night a week for a later time or being open on a Saturday for a few hours as the majority of other health centres are.
